It is beautiful! The colors are very vibrant.
I have no problem making granny squares, but getting enough for an afghan and putting them together is another story.

Oh, it's gorgeous. Like Yvette, the thought of sewing all the granny squares together is too much for me which is why something like that has to be treasured so much!
I have made many granny squares cot blankets. they take months and are heaps of work. Sewing in the ends is very tedious. At present I am using up scraps of wool to make squares for the ABC's Knit In later this year. These days the choice of colours is fairly limited.
